DDSGC “All Teams” Volunteers

We need your help! Giving of your time and energy helps keep our fees down and, in turn, helps keep tuition down. Please choose at least two events/tasks. Volunteer options (Sign up before October 1st, please, or pay the opt-out fee of $150.):

  • Events we need volunteers for (Scroll down for more details and each specific event)
    • Meet and Greet Parents and Students the first two weeks of class on T & Th 4:30-6:30 pm 
    • Kids Expo in October at the Grand River Center/Oct 4th (11-11:45 is our performance)
    • “The Sunday, 3 days after Thanksgiving” – Our Dance Recital / Five Flags Theater 
    • Jan/Feb – Our Tumbling Meet
      • Mandatory: everyone helps set up and tear down. ALL TEAMS – VERY IMPORTANT.
    • First Sunday in March – Our Dance Recital / Grand River Center
    • The Third Saturday in May – Our Dance Recital / Five Flags Theater 

 

    • WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SELL CONCESSIONS UNDER THE GRAND RIVER/FIVE FLAGS POLICIES, HOWEVER WE CAN SELL GIFT BAGS. WE NEED A COUPLE OF VOLUNTEERS TO MANAGE A TABLE AT EACH EVENT AND HAND OUT BAGS / SELL ANY EXTRAS THAT WERE NOT PRE-ORDERED PLEASE. (Shannon, thank you for all that you are doing with the gift bags to make sure we have them in order for the events)

  • Balloons, Picture Area, Organize set and dancers helping ________ In charge of the promenade area where the tables are, stay in there, and making sure kiddos are sitting down, and helpers are able to accomplish taking care of the kiddos. Please also make sure that helpers are talking to the kiddos at the table and that to each other. In charge of this area is
