K/1 Dance and Gymnastics

School-Year Classes | September–May

K/1 Dance and Gymnastics classes are 45 minutes long and meet weekly. Classes begin the Tuesday after Labor Day and end the Friday before Memorial Day.

K1 Dance Practice Information

We observe Major Holidays and will have the following off:

  • The Thursday – Sunday of Thanksgiving
  • Two weeks at Christmas
  • The Thursday – Sunday of Easter

Tuition & Registration

Families who pay the year in full receive:

  • 9% discount when paid by April 1
  • 7% discount when paid by July 1
  • 5% discount when paid by September 1

Registration is $15 per student or $20 per family.

Recitals & Special Events

Dance: All dancers are automatically included in our recitals. Recital fees are processed with October tuition. Please see our Recital page for complete information.

Dance Attire

Girls

  • Any color leotard and tights
  • White tap shoes
  • White ballet shoes

Boys

  • Shorts and a T-shirt
  • Black tap shoes
  • Black ballet shoes

Dance shoes are available through our studio store.

Class sizes are kept small, with approximately 8 students in dance and 7 students in gymnastics.

Team Opportunities

We offer team opportunities for this age group. Please contact the studio for additional information.

K/1 School-Year Schedule

K–2 Summer Classes & Camps

Families may enroll for all summer weeks or choose individual one-week camps:

 Summer lessons meet once or twice per week.

Monday & Wednesday – Pre/K

  • Dance: 5:00–5:30 pm
  • Gymnastics: 5:30–6:00 pm

Tuesday & Thursday – K–2

  • Gymnastics: 5:30–6:00 pm
