Heather Starr started tumbling at a very young age with Plum Creek Tumbling in Sumner, Iowa. She excelled in the sport and was heartbroken when her family moved to Maquoketa in 1985 and she was unable to find a comparable program. Many years later and now with two girls of her own she was thrilled to add them to the Dubuque Dance and Gymnastics team roster as competitive tumblers and gymnasts. "They have a very strong program, they follow strict USTA and USAG guidelines and I'm proud to be a part of that."
